Clean the wounded area of the cat’s skin. Apply a thin layer of Dermavet. Apply the ointment twice on a daily basis or follow as per your veterinarian’s recommendation.
Dosage can be reduced once the skin condition improves. While treating anal gland infections or cystic areas, make sure to drain the gland or cyst before applying Dermavet to fill up the wound.
It is used for almost all types of disorders but the best way is to follow veterinarian advice. Wash hands thoroughly after administering the treatment.
Dermavet contains corticosteroids, which may prove harmful to cats going through the last trimester of pregnancy. Therefore, take veterinarian advice while using on pregnant and nursing queens.
