Manufactured by Virbac, Wound Guard for cats is an effective scientific formulation that treats surgical procedures, ruptured skin and wounds on the cat’s skin. Made up of Denatonium Benzoate, Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Phenoxyethanol, eucalyptus oil and menthol, this antiseptic spray treats skin wounds, injuries and infections found in cats.

The bitter tasting spray prevents cats from licking the applied areas. This action accelerates cure of wounds at a quicker pace and eliminate chances of further damage due to pet bites.

Directions

Shake the bottle well before opening it. Remove the cap and spray on the wounded skin twice or thrice a day. Follow veterinarian’s advice for treating sutures.

The thumb rule is to use 3-4 pumps for each 2 cm length of the wound. Always keep away from the pet’s eyes and keep away from your face.

  • Store in a cool place with temperature below 30 degrees Celsius.
  • May cause mild irritation and minor transient discomfort.
  • Keep away from the feline’s eyes and mouth.
  • It is not harmful when used for treating normal skin and coat wounds.
