Profender Topical Solution for Large Cats 11-17.6 lbs
Profender for Large Cats is specially designed to provide effective deworming for large-sized cats. Each 1.12 ml tube contains 24 mg emodepside and 96.1 mg praziquantel, offering targeted treatment against common intestinal worms including roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms.
This easy-to-use topical solution is applied directly to the skin, eliminating the need for oral tablets and making deworming a stress-free experience for both cats and pet parents. The carefully measured dose ensures safe and effective treatment for large cats while supporting their overall health and comfort.
Ideal for routine deworming, this pack helps protect your cat from common parasites with a simple, mess-free application.
How it helps
Profender works through two active ingredients, emodepside and praziquantel, that target common intestinal worms in cats. After topical application, these ingredients are absorbed through the skin and travel to the intestinal tract to eliminate parasites.
Emodepside is effective against both adult and immature stages of roundworms and hookworms, while praziquantel helps remove tapeworms. Together, these ingredients provide broad-spectrum protection against the worms that most commonly affect cats.

How to Use
- Select the correct dose based on your cat’s weight.
- Remove the applicator from the packaging.
- Hold the tube in an upright position and remove the cap.
- Turn the cap over and place the other end of the cap onto the tip of the tube.
- Twist the cap to break the seal, then remove the cap from the tube.
- Part the hair on the back of the cat’s neck at the base of the head until the skin is clearly visible.
- Place the tip of the tube directly on the skin and squeeze the entire contents onto the skin.
- Lift the tube away from the skin before releasing pressure to ensure the full dose is applied.
- Do not apply to broken skin or if the hair coat is wet.
- Avoid getting the product in the cat’s mouth or eyes, and prevent the cat from licking the application site for at least one hour.
- Applying the treatment at the base of the head helps reduce the chance of the cat ingesting the product during grooming.
- In multi-pet households, keep pets separated until the application site is dry to prevent licking.
- Reinfection is possible, so additional treatment after 30 days may be required. Consult your veterinarian for guidance on the appropriate treatment schedule.
