Dermavet Ointment For Cats

Dermavet for cats is an Ayurvedic topical ointment with antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal properties for wound care of cats. It has cooling, analgesic and astringent properties that effectively cures dermatological disorders, skin inflammations and ear infections in cats. It is an ideal treatment for anal infections and dermatitis due to parasitic infections.


Dermavet for cats is an Ayurvedic formulation, which combines four therapeutic treatments. With antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and anti-pruritic properties, the ointment treats gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, parasitic dermatitis, acute and chronic otitis in cats. Clean the wounded area of the cat’s skin. Apply a thin layer of Dermavet. Apply the ointment twice on a daily basis or follow as per your veterinarian’s recommendation.

Dosage can be reduced once the skin condition improves. While treating anal gland infections or cystic areas, make sure to drain the gland or cyst before applying Dermavet to fill up the wound.

It is used for almost all types of disorders but the best way is to follow veterinarian advice. Wash hands thoroughly after administering the treatment.

Dermavet contains corticosteroids, which may prove harmful to cats going through the last trimester of pregnancy. Therefore, take veterinarian advice while using on pregnant and nursing queens.
