Directions
  • The ointment needs to be applied as per the severity of the wound.
  • First, clean the wounded area of the cat's skin.
  • Thereafter, apply a thin layer of Dermavet twice or thrice, as per your vet's instructions.
  • Thereafter, reduce the frequency of the application once the wound starts healing.
  • First clean the ear for ear infection and then apply a thin layer of ointment. 
  • In case of cystic areas and anal gland infections, drain cyst and gland thoroughly and then fill the wound with Dermavet cream. 
Safety
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Do not use for treating puncture wounds, burns and deep abscesses.
  • It is a topical treatment and injecting it in any form is strictly prohibited.
  • Keep away from the eyes of the pet.
  • Use gloves while applying the cream and wash hands and exposed skin after the treatment.
  • Store at room temperature and keep away from heat.
  • Keep away from children, edible items and pets.
  • Consult a veterinarian before treating pregnant or nursing cats.
  • If skin problems persist after 10 days of application then consult a veterinarian.
