My horse had contracted some bacterial infection on his wound that became horrible. Though I gave him the meds, what I noticed was that he used to lick the ointment off. I had to resort to avert finally. After using avert on his scab, his licking completely stopped and the scab healed more quickly. This product did work amazingly.Now I always use this solution when I have to keep him from ingesting the meds applied to his body.
